Coaching and Mentoring
With more than three decades of experience leading people through pressure, uncertainty and change, I now support individuals who are ready to move forward with clarity and confidence in their careers and lives.
My coaching is shaped by real leadership experience, not theory alone. I spent 30 years in military service and frontline policing, including as a Police Inspector in Scotland, making decisions where the stakes were measured in consequences for people, not paperwork. I have led teams through critical incidents, supported staff through promotion and development, and worked alongside individuals facing some of the most demanding moments of their professional lives. That experience now informs how I coach others today.
I work with people who are navigating transition, rebuilding confidence after setbacks, preparing for promotion or interviews, or trying to rediscover purpose after leaving a uniformed or public-service career. Many of those I support are at turning points. Some are stepping into leadership for the first time. Others are stepping away from roles that once defined them and are beginning to ask what comes next.
Coaching with me is practical, structured and grounded in lived experience. It focuses on decision-making, resilience, confidence, direction and identity beyond job titles. Through mentoring conversations and structured development sessions, I help people understand where they are now, where they want to be, and how to move forward with purpose.
If you are at a crossroads in your career, preparing for the next step, or simply looking for someone who understands what leadership under pressure really feels like, I would be glad to work with you so please get in touch to learn more.
